To co-incide with this week’s fun, cool and exciting E3 Gaming event over in Los Angeles, California we’ve launched the E3 TweetMeme channel. Here you will find the top stories coming out of the event.
The channel seems to be filling quickly with great content on the Gaming industry with lots of pictures, some really big announcements and lots of fun bits of information. It’s a must for those of you into your gaming.
I’m also putting together a list of other fun events to cover during the course of the year, so if you know of a really fun or cool event that you think we should be creating a channel for then let us know and I’ll see about creating it!

I’m expecting to see some of the coolest crafts and hacks seen in a long time in this stream. It’s one of the most interesting inventor events (and if that’s not a bit of a tongue twister then I don’t know what is!) that I know of. If you know of any other really interesting ones then do let me know. I’m always interested to hear about them!
Personally I’m wondering when they’ll bring the Maker Faire over to the UK and Europe. I suspect that it would go down really well over this way. After all there’s a mad inventor in all of us. All you need to do is watch Dragon’s Den to find that out!

Since the healthcare industry is so large and because the healthcare news and top stories aren’t just about swine flu we decided that it would be a good idea to create a healthcare channel on TweetMeme. On this you will find anything from swine flu to taxation changes sorrounding the industry.

We’ve been having a really busy day today what with the opening up of the whitelist, analysing the stats and creating new channels. Today’s new channel is a Startup’s channel. If you are interested in startup’s and VC’s then this is going to be the channel for you. Please bear in mind these are any type of startups from technology through to a New Roller Derby team being formed.

With the Next 09 Conference starting out today and continuing through to tomorrow we’ve added a TweetMeme feed showing the news and pictures coming out of the site. Today we added the Wordpress TweetMeme channel. We decided that since there’s always so much news for those who design and develop blog sites using Wordpress that it’s users would probably appreciate a channel where they can subscribe to all the hottest news on Wordpress. The channel contains announcements, new plugins, themes and design competition related links. So if you are a developer or designer and work with Wordpress then this one is just for you!

With the Formula 1 racing back on this weekend this time in Gulf Air Bahrin (Sakhir) we thought it would be a good time to launch a Formula 1 channel. As you can probably imagine the channel is full or all sorts of news and announcements about drivers, races and the politics sorrounding the sport.
As a fan of motor racing I couldn’t miss the opportunity to aggregate the content into one place to see all the action, the close up shots and the mayhem that goes along with every race. I’m looking forward to maybe seeing live twitpics coming up too! Citizen journalism at it’s best!
