Competitions are subject to the privacy policy and website terms and conditions of TweetMeme.
The following rules shall apply, together with any instructions or rules specific to any current competition. By entering any of our competitions, you are deemed to have accepted the following:
Competitions are open to all TweetMeme website users, except for TweetMeme employees and their relatives, and anyone professionally connected with the prize offered in this competition. TweetMeme reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
To qualify for and be entered into any of our competitions, you must follow the rules of the competition.
By taking part in the competition, you warrant that all information submitted is true, current and complete at the time of submission. We bare no responsibility for your twitter account and thus if your account is suspended, renamed of otherwise amended in a way that affects your participation in this competition.
We rely upon the Twitter API for accuracy of re-tweets and thus cannot guarantee that we will pick up every single vote, further to this we will not retrospectively adjust counters due to failures as a result of missing data.
All entries are the property of TweetMeme. By entering the competition, you thereby assign absolutely the copyright and all other rights in the entry for the full period of the copyright.
TweetMeme reserve the right to disqualify your entry if it is incomplete or if there are reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of these rules.
Prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. TweetMeme reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time. TweetMeme will contact the winner via Twitter as such all participants are advised to either follow @talktweetmeme or enable their account so that anyone can reply to them and they can see the replies. The winner must within 30 days respond and supply us with details so that we can fulfil the prize fulfilment.
All taxes, insurances, transfers and other expenses resulting from the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated.
The use of robots and automated tools to affect voting will result in disqualification. Failure to claim a prize within the time or in the manner specified may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternative winner.
TweetMeme reserves the right to alter, amend or close the competition as necessary.
In the case of any disputes regarding these rules, or the rules or instructions of a specific competition, the decision of TweetMeme will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The competition and these rules are governed by English Law.
